✦ SpotCircle

Public safety

Share places worth finding.

Public discovery works when listings are lawful, accurate, respectful, and safe to approach. Publishing means you agree to these rules.

Effective October 27, 2026

Be useful and truthful

Never publish

Photos stay in private contexts

Public discovery uses a bird’s-eye map preview. Photos can be kept in personal collections or deliberately shared with a trusted Circle, but they are not distributed as a Public listing cover. Only share a Circle photo when you have the right and consent to do so.

Report and hide

Open any Public Spot and choose Report this Spot to select a reason. Reports go to a protected operator queue. You can also choose Hide Explorer for immediate control on your phone and undo that choice in Settings.

Moderators may remove a listing, block a publisher, preserve a limited report record, or contact relevant services when reasonably necessary for safety or legal compliance. Repeatedly abusing the report system is also prohibited.

Urgent situations

SpotCircle reports are not monitored as an emergency channel. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Do not travel to a location solely because it appears in SpotCircle; conditions and access can change.

Questions or appeals

Email spotssupportteam@gmail.com with the non-secret Spot/report identifier and a concise explanation. Never send a Circle invite code or secret.
